Terror Alerts - Failed Car Bomb in Times Square

A improvised car bomb consisting of times, fireworks, propane tanks, gasoline cans and fertilizer failed to detonate after it was triggered.  The bomb was in a dark green Nissan Pathfinder, apparently stolen with Conneticut license plates.  The vehicle was left near the Lion King theater around 7PM.  When the bomb activated, detonating the fireworks, passerbys contacted the NYPD who responded quickly, assessed the situation and began evacuating the area.  The NYPD has released video from some of the 80+ nearby cameras showing a person of interest and continues investigating.  The Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for the failed car bomb.
