Universal Security Systems fleet of vehicles includes nine hybrid vehicles including four Toyota Prius' and five Ford Escape Hybrids

HVAC System

Universal Security Systems upgraded our HVAC rooftop units to super high efficiency York Predator units with Economizers.

Lighting

At our Hauppauge, New York Headquarters, the 10,000 sq foot warehouse uses super efficient T-5 fluorescent hi-bay fixtures on motion sensors.  The office area also utilize T-5 and T-8 fluorescent fixtures and compact fluorescent hi-hats.

Recycling

We recycle cardboard, paper and aluminum/glass/plastic drinking containers

Metal Recycling

As of September 7th we recycled 3997 lbs of copper, steal and aluminum in 2010
